Today, as a class instructor was bringing me over to help one of his students with a reference question, he said to them, "The librarians that work here are GODS!" Um, talk about pressure.
Also, I'm not sure what's worse - that one of our teen regulars at ACPL guessed my age at 29, or that he's not far off. I'm not old enough to be this old!

March 31, 2008 at 4:30:00 PM EDTI feel your pain. Yesterday I passed from being closer to 25 to now being closer to 30. I actually feel a wee bit of existential angst over this. I think the key is to have friends older than you. For instance, two of the guys I spend a lot of time with in the program are both in their 30s. It helps me feel young. :)
